General Election 8/3/08

"Despite 50 years of Independence, the Bumiputera's equity was still lacking by 18.7 per cent. The group has yet to achieve the 30 per cent target." WHY??A change is good, however the Malays are always worried of their welfare. WHY? It's clear that they are too dependent on the government. They are not stupid, they are just used to being help by the government.

In the older days, we live where our parents and grandparents lived, we do as they so, but now, life isn't just living in one part of the world. Being in a competitive era we all need to grow just like how Singapore had.
Singapore is safe, economically stable it has achieve so much with change why can't we all change for the better.

Books

I love Amazon. If you need books, buy it from Amazon. If you need DVDs, buy it from Amazon, if you need CDs buy it from Amazon. Buy your baby stuff, your kitchen utensils, and even your boots from Amazon. Where else can you buy reasonably cheap books with free delivery?
If you change your mind and need to return the items you purchased, they let you return it with no quibles.
If they drop they prices in the 30 days after you bought your stuff, they even refund you the difference.

Unlike Amazon, we tried returning a CD from Play.com, they just ignore your request for the return.

So be smart, shop from Amazon and get your loyalty points with them :)

Reading

The 1st book I read was probably Hansel & Gretel. I remembered crying when I was learning how to read. My mother would have a cane in one hand while I read and every mistake I make will result with the cane. I don't remember being stupid perhaps I just wasn't interested at that time... hmmm surely there is no need for so much pressure at the age of 3??

Anyway, after leaving school I have stopped reading for awhile. I am just plain lazy. I blame the lifestyle in Malaysia.
Places and when we read in London;
1. while travelling in train and tube
2. while waiting for train and tube
3. before bed
4. in bed, in the weekends
5. in the winter and you rather stay in than go out.
Unlike in London, Malaysia don't have the convenience of trains and tubes and we are used to driving. So, we can't read while we drive can we? I can't even read the map while I'm driving!! lol!
In other times, I rather go shopping and watch bootleg vcd. VCD is so cheap, I was buying a few vcd to watch every week. Also we go out for dinner all the time in Malaysia, there's no winter to keep us in the house. Is that good??

Here's the books I've read since Christmas 2006
1. Harry Potter 1-6
2. Doctor who series, only finished 4 :)
3. Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series
4. Eragon & half of Eldest
5. Sabriel, Lirael & Abhorsen series
6. Gordon Ramsay - humble pie (boring really)
7. Chris Moyles, gospel (this is funny)
8. Wild Swans - have just finished this last week, phew!
